Farm/Garden Cake
My brother-in-law requested this cake for my sister-in-law's birthday. He wanted a farm cake with chickens, a goat, and dogs (border collies specifically). Everything is edible: fudge sticks for railroad ties, pretzels for the fence, vanilla wafers for the stepping stones, crushed graham crackers for the path, and crushed chocolate teddy grahams for the dirt in the beds. All other decorations are fondant and gum paste. Vines and flowers are buttercream. The cake is dark chocolate mayonnaise cake with vanilla buttercream.

This cake was for my sister's fiance's birthday. She was the mastermind behind the design, I just pitched in. Everything is edible (except the toothpicks in the skewers). The cake was vanilla and chocolate with marshmallow fondant. The hot dogs and skewers were gum paste; the hamburgers were Little Debbie fudge rounds; the coals were roasted marshmallows; the grate was chocolate coated in silver luster dust; and the cheese, grill handle, and vent were fondant.
